AVCTL / GWAL Challenge Tigers 17-21 W. SE at the end of the 1st quarter
Mr. Dikeman's class conducted an International Wildlife Trafficking simulation in which students represented various stakeholders seeking to mitigate the Pangolin crisis. In this simulation, students learned how to form alliances, broker deals, as well as the challenges international organizations face in solving an issue while meeting each stakeholder's objectives. It was an interesting & fun experience.

Mr. Bergkamps US History class became World War 1 experts last month. Students researched life in the trenches, explored real soldiers' diaries, and found out what everyday survival looked like on the front lines. They mapped the Western Front & built their own trenches using everything from shoeboxes to Legos to food! Students presented their creations and explained how each part of their trench worked. The projects were creative, messy, and super impressive--the room basically turned into a mini WWI museum! #TigerNationProud
