Members of the EHS Quill & Scroll, Echo Yearbook, and IKE Media were recognized this week for their accomplishments for the 2025-26 school year.
Quill & Scroll continued their literary service project, raising money for the EHS library and supporting students. They also celebrated 100 years of Quill & Scroll!
Many of our Tiger journalist won awards for their interview skills, stories, designs as well as photojournalism. IKE Media students were recognized for their superior work in the Digital Media Career Pathway.
Several students were recognized in "Voices of Kansas", a digitally published journal. One student in particular, Abigail Perez (sophomore), earned first place for her poem "The Radio". (see graphic for other tigers recognized)
Our yearbook team made EHS history with TWO Yearbook Excellence Awards! Additionaly, four members of the yearbook leadership team received scholarships to attend a design workshop next year. They were also recognized for their outstanding theme development and commitment to Yearbook!
Tiger Nation is extremely proud of our yearbook, journalism, and media students and their teachers. Their dedication to capturing stories and photos has given us a wonderful collection of memories to cherish.
