Meet the Coaches

Coach BrunswigHEAD COACH, Amber Brunswig

As a pitcher from Ark City, KS High School, Coach Brunswig grew up playing softball from a young age. Pitcher was her primary pitch and she took lessons from a variety of coaches around the area. Her senior year of high school the team won Class 5A state champs.  After many college visits she decided to stay close to home and  join the Wichita State Softball Team on a scholarship where she also obtained her Bachelors degree in education.  She started her career in a second grade classroom in Newton, KS. She coached softball and volleyball for six years before focusing on her family. While at Newton she guided the softball team to two state appearances.  As her family grew they relocated to Goddard, KS where she is now a 5th Grade Teacher at Discovery Intermediate School.  She has a passion for working with the youth in all areas from teaching lessons in class to teaching softball, to all ages, outside of it.
