GRAPHIC DESIGN II INFORMATION:
Graphic Design II covers contemporary digital design, using interactive media and motion graphics. Image caputre and creation, manipulation, and integration of still images using current industry software are discussed. Part of the coursework covers 2D and 3D animation for digital media, audio, and video. Topics include the design of websites from a graphics viewpoint through the use of PhotoShop and web effects which allow students to practice web design techniques. Students will complete projects in both physical art and digital graphic art. These projects will use creativity and technology.
You will be assigned two books for the semester. All assignments will be placed in Skyward and once the project is done, a grade will be recorded. Any assignment not completed by the end of the semester will result in zeroes.
I have provided a calendar that will help you manage your time for the semester. We will have time at the end of the semester to take practice exams. All students will take a practice exam for both PhotoShop and Dreamweaver for a grade. If you want the opportunity, you may take the actual Certiport exam for the program of your choice. The test will be about $70.00.
